Alison and Adam got married on a bright summer day at the groom’s parents home in Placerville. Alison chose plum purple for her wedding colors, which were striking together.

Since Alison loves roses, she carried a hand-tied bouquet laden with lavender and white roses and sprinkled with white freesia. Her gown was a strapless, ruched ball gown that looked as though it belonged to a fairytale princess.

The bridesmaids sported rich plum cocktail dresses and clutched nosegays of lavender roses, sweet william, lisianthus and freesia. David Bonetti Videography captured every second of the beautiful aisle procession, the vow exchange and the following reception.

Dawn Roberti of Natural Flair Custom Floral Designs made all of the unique bridal bouquets and personal decorations. We had a great time designing flowers for Alison and Adam’s special day!

Eric and Jennifer Olmstead tie the knot October 14, 2011 at Serrano Country Club

The posh Serrano Country Club in El Dorado Hills was the setting of Eric and Jennifer Olmstead’s gorgeous January wedding. Overlooking the Gold Country Foothills and Folsom Lake, the country club has amazing views.

Jennifer chose different shades of pink for her flowers to contrast with the bridesmaids rich blue dresses. Her designer gown was strapless, ruched at the breast and waist and featured a long, flowing train. Jennifer held a bouquet of pink and white roses, cymbidium orchids, peonies and galax leaves. Her maids carried small nosegays of roses, freesia, and cymbidium orchids all in pink.

Family and friends watched as Jennifer floated down the aisle of pink and white rose petals. The wedding was outside canopied with oak trees and sweeping views of the rolling hills. The couple exchanged vows and took their first kiss as husband and wife.

The reception followed inside with delicious food catered by Serrano Country Club and a decadent cake by Jan Marie Cakes. For the tables, Natural Flair Custom Floral Design created clusters of tall glass vases, some with tulips, some with hydrangeas—all with flickering, floating candles.

Later, Bryan from Music & Move got everyone on their feet to dance. Aimee from White Daisy Photography was there to capture all the fun in photos. What a great time!

Stephanie and Matt Hewitt exchange vows October 8, 2011 in El Dorado Hills

Surrounded by family and friends at a sprawling private estate in El Dorado Hills, Stephanie and Matt became husband and wife. Stephanie wore a beautiful strapless designer gown and carried a hand-tied bouquet of roses, calla lillies, dahlias and orchids in rich fall colors of gold, orange, bronze and yellow. Matt looked on adoringly as she walked to stand beside him. Candle-lit lanterns flickered as they spoke their vows.

A plethora of candles sprinkled throughout the grounds, pool area and tables created a romantic setting that mesmerized guests. Bountiful bouquets of calla lillies, sunflower, stock, roses, dahlias and gerbera daisies dotted with tiny lights decorated wood tables and an outdoor fireplace dripped with a cascade of gords, dahlias, sunflower, roses, stock and calla lillies. Glass vases with candles outlined the pool.

This breathtaking evening was orchestrated by wedding planner Darcie Swedelson of Dazzling Day by Darcie. Bocca Catering of Folsom served delectable food to hungry guests and the staff at Pretty Sweet baked the elegant wedding cake.

After enjoying all the delicious food and drink, Stephanie, Matt and their friends and family danced for hours to tunes provided by Doug of Music on the Move. Every moment of this beautiful wedding was documented by Jodi Yorston Photography.

Teresa and Robert Viera wed Oct. 1, 2011 at Gold Hill Vineyard in Placerville

Teresa chose rich burgundy and ivory for her October wedding at Gold Hill Vineyard. Robed in a satiny white gown, she carried a fragrant bouquet of burgundy and ivory roses with white freesia and dahlias.

Robert and Teresa looked so happy as they stood together overlooking the bountiful grape vineyards, reciting their vows to become husband and wife. Alba Fiore Photography captured every tender moment between the bride and groom.

At the reception, which followed at the winery, guests were treated to great food by Asante Catering and a delectable cake created by Nikki D’Agostini Delights. The tables were adorned with Tuscany styled arrangements of roses, snapdragons, dahlias, and real grapes designed by Dawn Roberti of Natural Flair Custom Floral Designs.

The bride and groom had a great time enjoying the festive celebration with their friends and family before flying to Italy for their honeymoon. That’s amore’!

Stacy and Chad Rodgers wed Sept. 10, 2011 at David Girard Vineyards in Placerville

The sprawling, lush David Girard Vineyards in Placerville hosted Stacy and Chad Rodgers’ elegant September wedding. Guests enjoyed the beautiful winery’s outdoor setting and took in views of the grape vineyards below as the couple said “I do.”

A glowing Stacy chose red roses, red gerbera daisies, purple calla lillies, green cymbidium orchids and agonis for her bridal bouquet, which complimented her modern, white designer gown. In strapless dresses of deep purple, the bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet, which highlighted the rich plum color of the fabric.

This was a fun wedding! Chad and Stacy’s friends and families got the reception really rocking afterward in the big tent at David Girard’s. Delicious food and drinks were served by Bocca Catering and the luxurious and unique table linens were provided by Mimi & Co.

Everyone mingled, danced and seemed to have a great time celebrating the bride and groom! Sarah of Sarah Maren Photographers didn’t miss a moment, her camera flashing continually to catch all the good times.

It was a gorgeous summer day when Rob and Melinda took their vows overlooking the lush grapes at Young’s Vineyard. Walking down the aisle Melinda carried a beautiful hand-tied bouquet of ivory tulips, dahlias and freesia with a touch of red, while her maids—in deep red and blue gowns—held bunches of red tulips.

Following the ceremony, guests headed to the reception where they enjoyed amazing food served by Beth Sogaard Catering and delicious cake baked by Ingrid’s Cakes. Both elegant and gardeny, the tables featured spring arrangements of hydrangeas, dahlias, roses, stock, tulips and freesia. Bunches of red tulips or sunflowers in tall glass vases adorned other tables.

After eating and drinking, guests took a spin on the dance floor, grooving to the music of DJ Chad Stalzer Productions. Amanda Mason at Pure Images Photography captured all the beauty and memories of the day. Wow! What an enjoyable wedding!

Rachel and David Schulz wed August 20, 2011 at David Girard Vineyards in Placerville

This outdoor wedding at David Girard Vineyards in Placerville was the epitome of shabby chic. Ivory, pink and apricot rose petals lined the aisle as the bride walked up to meet her husband to be. A beautiful painting that was painted by the Mother of the Bride matched the colors of the rose petals served as a backdrop as Rachel and David exchanged their wedding vows.

Rachel’s elegant champagne-colored gown was the backdrop for her country, gardeny bouquet of roses, dahlias, snapdragons and freesia. The bridesmaids carried hand-tied clusters of dahlias and roses in champagne, pink and apricot. Pastel colors, soft flowers and the vineyard setting, completed the shabby chic look for which the bride was dreaming.

The guests filed into a huge tent filled with flower-laden tables created by Natural Flair Custom Floral Design. A tall shabby chic white vase with dots of moss held clusters of sherbet-colored roses, dahlias and lisianthus on some tables. Roses and floating candles filled tall glass vases on every other table, while gardeny bouquets filled with roses, lisianthus, dahlias and sweet peas set with clusters of votive candles rounded out the floral centerpieces.

Later, the cocktail hour brought an assortment of wines from David Girard Vineyards in addition to a collection of beers and vast array of hors d’oeuvres, The gorgeous all-white cake, served later in the festivities, was created by Cakes by Karen and decorated with clusters of pink peonies. When it came time for dancing, Chad Stalzer productions lit up the dance floor, inviting guests to show their moves. We had a great time creating the flowers for Rachel and David’s amazing wedding!

Pineapple centerpieces, dendrobium orchids and leis created a truly Hawaiian atmosphere at Jenelle and Dustin Dockery’s wedding at David Girard Vineyards. The bride’s wish definitely came true—her Hawaiian heritage shined at this fun celebration! Tropical meets elegant garden, Jenelle chose to carry a bouquet of creamy ivory and lavender dendrobium orchids, gardenias, fragrant roses with a touch of purple sweet peas.

Wedding colors of purple, white, lavender and deep magenta were striking choices. The guys wore dendrobium orchid boutonnieres and the girls carried hand-tied bouquets of orchids, roses, peonies and sweet peas in magenta, lavender and purple. Plus, 13 bridesmaids and 13 groomsmen created one of the biggest, most colorful bridal parties!

At the reception, pineapples and orchids adorned tables and hula dancers entertained. And later, the house rocked when a live Chicago tribute band played throughout the night. Beth Sogaard Catering & Vintage Market made the yummy food and Sierra Rizing Bakery designed the delectable cake. And Jennifer Dunham of Memory Journalists took all the photos to commemorate this beautiful day for Janelle and Dustin. Aloha! We loved being part of this Hawaiian-inspired wedding!

Kasey and Paul Cardinale marry at Holy Trinity in El Dorado Hills, June 18, 2011

Kasey and Paul’s wedding at Holy Trinity Church in El Dorado Hills, was amazing. This beautiful bride and handsome groom exchanged vows during a Catholic mass ceremony full of tradition, yet sprinkled with the couple’s personality. Wearing a storybook gown and carrying a bouquet of orchids, roses and sweet peas, the bride looked as though she walked straight out of a fairy tale. At both ends of the altar, soft roses hung from potted trees made of curly willow, while swags of snapdragons, roses, bear grass and cosmos decorated each pew.

Following the ceremony, friends and family gathered at the sprawling Serrano Country Club in El Dorado Hills to celebrate Paul and Casey. As with the wedding, the reception was elegant and magical. Each table held different floral arrangements, some with orchids, tulips or hydrangeas enclosed in glass with candles floating on top. Others were gardeny, spring flower assortments that cascaded from atop glass vases filled with flowers.

Guests enjoyed yummy hors d’ ouvres and a sit-down dinner compliments of Serrano Country Club before Matt Brys of Extreme Productions took the party up a notch, spinning tunes as only this DJ can. When it came time to cut the cake, baked by Jayne Marie, it was too beautiful to eat! And of course, Chris Shepard was on hand to take photos of this beautiful day from start to finish.

We enjoyed this wedding SO much! The mother of the bride went above and beyond to make her daughter’s special day one to always remember. From bottles of water labeled with the bride and groom’s names to special bars of decadent chocolate, she made sure every guest felt special and welcome. She made us feel very special too! She’s amazing! And we enjoyed every minute we spent creating the storybook wedding flowers for Kasey and Paul.

Katie and Jonathan Huyck take vows at Young’s Vineyard May 28, 2011

Katie Legacy and Jonathan Huyck chose Young’s Vineyard in the quaint town of Plymouth for their wedding and reception. Wow! A mix of country farmhouse and vineyard chic made this wedding a standout. In a ceremony that was both charming and full of warmth, the bride walked from a barn structure at the winery to the groom who stood overlooking the sprawling grape vineyard. Bubbles danced around the couple as they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife.

Bouquets of soft pinks, peaches and champagne flowers, stuffed with roses, bells of Ireland, queene anne’s lace, astilbe, dahlias, craspedia and peonies complemented the bride and her maids. At the outdoor reception, round tables were decorated with jars filled with sherbert-colored clusters of dahlias, hyacinths and peonies, mixed with fresh basil and rosemary. And personal pics of the couple dotted the tables, creating a homey feel.

Compliments of Beth Sogaard Catering and Vintage Market, guests were treated to dinner, plus whimsical treats such as country lemonade, peach fizzes, and offered a candy bar overflowing with jars of lemon drops, lollipops, s’mores and candy canes. Yes, they served loads of cupcakes, too!

Later, DJ, Chad Stalzek rocked the vineyard as guests flooded the dance floor. The celebration at the vineyard was spectacular, even though rain fell during both the ceremony and reception. The bride and groom were amazing hosts, keeping guests spirits high despite the periodic showers. What a celebration! Thank goodness Allyson Magda Photography was there to catch all the fun and intimate moments of the day.
