She carried a hand-tied gardeny cluster of sweet peas, lisianthus, lavender and white roses sprinkled with fiddlehead fern for a contemporary touch. David, the more quiet, laid back groom, sported a  rose and fiddlehead fern boutonnière. Although these two are admitted opposites, (he’s an introvert, she’s an extrovert), their love drew them to marry this sunny day overlooking the vineyards at Lava Cap Winery. Cocktail hour followed the ceremony, with … Continue reading

This outdoor wedding at David Girard Vineyards in Placerville was the epitome of shabby chic. Ivory, pink and apricot rose petals lined the aisle as the bride walked up to meet her husband to be. A beautiful painting that was painted by the Mother of the Bride matched the colors of the rose petals served as a backdrop as Rachel and David exchanged their wedding vows.
